Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

Game Overview

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree expands upon the critically acclaimed base game, transporting players into the Land of Shadow—a realm completely separate from the Lands Between. Guided by the traces of Empyrean Miquella, players venture into a treacherous landscape scarred by the flames of Messmer the Impaler and filled with ancient secrets.

The expansion retains the seamless open-world exploration and punishing combat systems of Elden Ring while introducing unique progression mechanics designed specifically for the DLC realm. Players navigate vast open fields, perilous swamps, and intricate multi-layered legacy dungeons inhabited by fearsome new adversaries and compelling non-player character storylines.

To aid players against these elevated threats, the expansion introduces eight new weapon categories—such as Light Greatswords, Beast Claws, Hand-to-Hand Arts, and Thrusting Shields—alongside fresh armor sets, spirit ashes, and powerful sorceries. Designed for character builds that have defeated Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood in the main campaign, Shadow of the Erdtree offers dozens of hours of deep, lore-rich action RPG gameplay on PS4.
